It’s built with a wordpress theme called Lay.
I would certainly be open to considering the paid option if that was the only way to make it work. Would I be able to get a refund if I purchased and it still didn’t work?
Great thank you for the advice!
I can confirm that all zip files have been downloaded, and aren’t corrupt. I’ll also take a look at updraft clone. Thank you for the advice guys.

Download Converter: I tried in another browser but still getting the same issue
Andrew Nevins: Can you explain more in depth? The file that I have been working on is index.php within the theme folder. Everything works as expected when adjusting this file in the local server environment.
Thanks guys!

I had already played around in the content page, but to be sure I did just as you said:
1) I made sure that the new PHP file was in place
2) Went to the content tab on WP super cache and clicked “delete cache”
3) Confirmed that the number on the same tab under cache contents stated “0” and the file list was blank
4) Reloaded the page. The PHP updated are still not showing :/
I was thinking my next step might be to just uninstall super cache, but I was a bit worried that it might leave cached files or code behind that would make this problem harder to solve.
Any other thoughts?
