In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Plugin not injecting mPS2id-highlight class?Hi yes, I did. I had added 2 more menu items, and those worked while the original two did not. I ended up deleted the original menu items and re-adding them. It worked, but I have no idea why.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] White screen and sudden permission issuesI am navigating to http://mysite.com/wp-admin, where I see the usual login prompt. I enter my info as usual, and I get the permissions error. I do not know how the plugin could affect the site when it is not in the file system, but I am not the only one to have this problem (see my above Google search), and the two issues showed up on my site simultaneously.
Do you have any suggestions?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] White screen and sudden permission issuesTo clarify, when I say removing the plugin doesn’t help, I mean that the white screen and fatal error disappear when I remove the plugin, but I still receive the message that I ‘do not have sufficient permissions to access this page’ when trying to access the WordPress admin.
The first time I have ever received this permissions error is when I first saw the white screen, after I renamed the ai1ec plugin directory.
a quick google search of ‘all in one event calendar sufficient permissions’ reveals that many others have encountered something similar (although I have not found a solution in those threads).

In reply to: [Scribd Doc Embedder] Actual instructions?The author of the plugin has the instructions on the ‘Description’ tab of the plugin page. I don’t think there is a shortcode ‘button’, if that’s what you’re looking for, but he does list the actual shortcodes to use.
I have a PDF uploaded to my site, and I use the shortcode:
[scribd-url url=”http://mydomain.com/uploads/pdf/my-file.pdf” pubid=”123456789″]
When you are on a page or post go to the “text” view (as opposed to the “visual” view) and paste that shortcode into it.
Replace the URL with your own (wherever you’ve uploaded your file that you want to display), and replace the PUBID with the publisher ID that you get when you sign up for a Scribd API account. My publisher id looked like this: pub-123456789, but I used just the numbers for the shortcode above. you can sign up here: http://www.scribd.com/developers
There is also an option to embed a document that you’ve uploaded to the Scribd site, as well as other options for the shortcodes, like width and height – check the description page to see more.
