Turns out the plugin “Maintenance Mode” was preventing the database to be sent on a schedule. I had it enabled since I was designing a new theme for my blog but since disabling the Maintenance mode plugin and scheduling a daily database backup being sent to email it has worked fine.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll go back to the 2.2.2 release and see if it helps.
I managed to solve this issue by re-publishing my posts which allowed WordPress.com Stats to grab the title of the re-published post and produce statistics again.
Not sure if I encountered a bug but that’s the solution.
