And yes, I have tried reinstalling wordpress, changing themes, removing all plugins, and removing .htaccess.
Somewhere in the code, I don’t know where, the blog address is not being inserted. Perhaps some obscure entry in the database is not set, for the only way I can see this bug surviving through reinstalls is if the problem is in the database.
Found the problem – the hostname name is not localhost.
And before anyone points out the difference between echeque_Wordpress and echeque_wordpress, yes I tried all possible combinations
