In fact you just have to do what it says. Click the enable option. The facebook plugin doesn’t use relative URLS. It will still work

It looks like you have figured this out already.

To clarify anyone else looking. The “credit” box on the App setting must be checked to REMOVE the “Powered by Facebook Comments” tag.
