Hi James,

I,ve only just come back to this but have just today found some information on Jetpack’s site that would explain my issues…

Basically the pages advises that images are cached forever so file names need to be changed to refresh the image.

Hi James,

Thanks for the reply.

The image is supposed to be there – its a “face” for a testimonial that I have.

The issue is that even when I change the image (via WP Admin) for another with a more appropriate scaling the image served on the page doesn’t change. I’ve cleared the cache, purged the URL, everything and the image doesn’t change.

In short I could not influence the image being served by the Photon CDN simply by changing the source image. Any suggestions?

****** Actually (sorry!) I’ve realised the obvious. I’ll switch off Photon, change the images, and then switch it back on again. See if that causes them to refresh / reload.
