Hi,
Thanks for your answer, but the blocked visits log is empty.
So does blocking work actually?Because my dashboard is showing me a beautiful graph of blocked bots, either by name or IP.
The ones by name I would like to know their IP address because they spam the most and would like to block them with the firewall
Thanks in advance,
JHi,
Thanks, increasing the maximum lockout time did it. Someone trying to login with a banned user account is instantly locked out with the maximum lockout time that you specify in Login lock out.
Case closed, thanks!
JThanks for the reply!
I am investigating the best way to block bots/people who try to login into the website. I have no admin account and the site is in build-up and in lock mode, but if you see how many attempts there are for admin login… those intentions are not the best kind.
The firewall of AIOS is blocking admin logging attempts, it blocks the attempts for 360 minutes.
Is there a way to increase this lock-out period?
I cannot find this setting. With the 404 and the rename logging activated I can choose how long people are locked out and can black list them easily from the 404 feature. But of course there is the possibility to lock out yourself when you by accident use an outdated cached link that no longer exists (already happened).
What is the best way with AIOS to block these logging attempts?
Thanks,
J
