In reply to: [Ollie] Invisible textAwesome and thank you so much! Just for clarity, I just installed 1.3.4 this morning. Is that the release with the fixes or did you mean the next one to come (1.3.5 I imagine)?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce invisible text?Last reply for now:
I stuck with the Ollie theme, and used the SiteOrigin CSS plugin to change the CSS for the specific dropdown. It is now visible so the problem is hopefully solved for now.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce invisible text?Checking back in after trying several more themes. A pattern seems to be emerging:
If I use a classic theme, the text seems to be visible (original problem solved).
If I use a block theme (Gutenberg/full-site editing), the problem persists.
This may not be 100% the case with all classic or block themes, but I’ve tried quite a few and got to the point that I could predict whether the invisible text issue would occur or not with decent accuracy, based on this.
I do need to use a block theme for my site, for various other reasons. As I’ve stated, I’ve already built the majority of my site with Ollie and there are several other features of the site that rely on it.
If the problem is this consistently tied to block themes, is it something Woocommerce would/should address so that the plugin cooperates with block themes more?
I would appreciate any help! Thank you again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce invisible text?I’m so grateful for your reply.
I did try some other themes, including Astra, with mixed results. (I actually tried Astra in the very beginning of building my site, but decided against it for other reasons. I tried it again today after your suggestion.) In some of the themes, the invisible text was visible, but others not.
However, I’m really really reluctant to switch themes because I have already built so much of the site already and it is functioning for my current students. Woocommerce is just one new component of the already existing site.
I would be grateful if you would elaborate on the CSS suggestion. I’m not sure exactly how to do that.
Also, I will reach out to the Ollie theme developer. Thank you!
This is not working for me. 🙁 I would be grateful for help!
I cannot find anywhere an option to remove someone from a group. I have looked everywhere in the WP dashboard/plugin settings and read the documentation. I can’t find any mention of it.
For context: I would like to be able to place members into a group, or groups, since some of them will need to be in more than one group. I also need to be able to remove them from groups from time to time, whenever they “graduate” to another group.
I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. I figured out how to add a member to a group, but I simply cannot take them out when it’s time. Please help and thank you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] I messed up Woo and I don’t know how to fix it :-(@carolm29 Thank you so much for your response! I got nervous about wiping all Woo data, since I’m not a developer and I would rather not follow the steps in the guide. Instead, I remembered that I had made a site backup right before my failed attempt to remove Woocommerce before, so I decided to just restore that backup.
This should mean that all my woo data is the way it was before, correct?
Except, of course, for the connection between my site and the Woocommerce.com so the Update Manager works correctly. I realize that that happens at Woocommerce.com, and therefore me restoring the backup doesn’t affect it. To be clear, my store was connected successfully before I decided to go trying to “fix” it (major regrets). So just a few days ago, it was working properly.
I’m attaching screenshots: in Woocommerce.com, the screen where it says my subscription to the Update Manager is active but “not in use” … when I hit the “Add To Store” button, it asks for my store URL, and directs me back to my own WordPress backend, where I’m supposed to hit the “connect” button… except there is no “connect” button. My WP site says I don’t have an active subscription to the Update Manager. So then I hit the “Subscribe” button, which takes me back to Woocommerce.com, where I see the first screenshot again… and around and around.

Please help and thanks so much!
