Got it! Thanks again!
PYESSSS! Thanks a lot!
So I need to select that layout engine in plugin default settings?
PThere’s none, only the gallery…
[gallery link="file" title_position="none" main_size="full" tile_size="full" load_mode="js" style="mosaic" itemtag="dl" icontag="dt" captiontag="dd" columns="3" size="thumbnail" ids="8871,8870,6350,6349,6348,6347,6345,6344,6331,6362,6391,5345,5336,5335,5334,5333,5330,5331,5329,5328,5327" orderby="menu_order ID"]
Hello again Sayontan! I did it and it’s not working. Was I also to switch loading engine to JS? I didn’t…

Thanks for your prompt reply! Oopsy! π
It’s turned back to Mosaic now…
PHi Sayontan!
Issue is resolved! Oddly, there were 2 WP installations (2 folders) for the website. Thus, there were plugins, including Photonic, and event WP itself that couldn’t properly be updated from WP Admin…I realized that looking into Softaculous. Fixed now and looking great again!
Thanks for your help!
Photonic rocks!

Hi!
Updated the plugin to 2.8 version and same issue remains with nomadesxnomades.com even with gallery wizard.
http://nomadesxnomades.com/bikepacking-quebec-2017-2021The two other sites already mentionned are still displaying “old” mosaic layout galleries fine and gallery wizard works for new ones.

http://apremierevue.ca/a-propos/Gallery settings are still displaying weirdly on all of the 3 websites.

Hi Sayontan!
I created a gallery using your instructions–see this page: https://nomadesxnomades.com/aa–and altough mosaic layout is selected I get the superposition you see on the page. The edit settings are as weird as prtsc already provided.
Here are links to gallery pages of the two other websites I manage that display the gallery layout properly but show the same weird edit settings–scroll to bottom for both galleries:

http://apremierevue.ca/a-propos/I opened a support ticket with my websites server, Hostpapa, about a couple of Site Health issues and Photonic, here’s our conversation:
`Bonjour!Site Health Status shows 2 critical issues–see below. Are they something you can fix and could they be involved in problem encountered with Photonic Gallery & Lightbox plugin–see my conversation with its author here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/photonic-gallery-editing-settings-issue/#post-15560182
2 critical issues:
1-An active PHP session was detected
Performance
A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.2-The REST API encountered an error
Performance
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages. The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello, I have carefully reviewed your sites but none of the results in an error on my end. I browsed a fair bit of time on pages but no issues were found there as well. Could you please let me know if I should do something specific to replicate this? Looking forward to your update. Thanks again Sayontan
PierreThanks again!
That’s weird indeed! WP Super Cache is deactivated since my reaction to your first reply…
If you’d like to investigate further my strange setup, could we convene to exchange by email, Zoom or…?
Pierre
Thanks for your prompt reply!
I deactivated WP Super Cache to no avail…
Photonic 2.79 installed:

Thanks again!

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Uploaded files not seen nor searchable in media library@drewwestcott Hi and thanks a lot!
I did the manoeuvre again, and thoroughly this time, and it proved that WPML String Translation plug-in was the culprit. Will report issue to WPML…thanks again!
