No idea. Which worries me a little bit, but at least I got it fixed and know how to fix it in the future.
I looked into my .htaccess file and discovered this line of code:
RewriteRule \.(gif|jpg)$
https://c1.staticflickr.com/4/3068/2954596047_73176bd724.jpg [R,L]That was the issue. Is there any chance this could be related to Jetpack?
The images display fine on the website, but when I look at them in my media library or when I’m editing a blog post, I get the above image. The inability to look at media while creating content is frustrating.

this is what the image error message looks like. And again, it’s wrong because all the images that are replaced with this are created by me and hosted by me.

In reply to: First site redirect, now social plugins hackedThanks. I’ll take a look. Definitely overwhelmed by all this. Any advice on finding a guide (person, not manual) or someone who fixes these issues professionally? Website security is something that intimidates me and I have no knowledge of.

In reply to: First site redirect, now social plugins hackedOh and I don’t know if it is the social plugins that are the root. I was using Social Linkz, then uninstalled them. Now using Jetpack. Same thing happening (no change).
