In reply to: Posts not appearing on the homepageChances are this is not a problem with the theme, you just might have some configuration issues in the dashboard. Would I be right in assuming this is a new WordPress installation and setup?
In your dashboard go to Settings -> Reading. Confirm that your Front Page is set to display your latest posts.
Yes, it is a new installation. In Settings > Reading, front page to display latest posts isn’t an option. My three settings/options are:
Blog pages show at most posts: 10
Syndication feeds show the most recent: 10
For each article in a feed, show: Summary
Search Engine Visibility: OffUnder Customize Theme, it is set to: Front Page Displays your latest posts
