Thanks for the repinse. So there are multiple areas where we see this error. Its across all sites on the same server. Under tools/health check, the following errors are shown:
“Critial Issue:
Communicating with the WordPress servers is used to check for new versions, and to both install and update WordPress core, themes or plugins.
Error Your site is unable to reach ww.wp.xz.cn at 198.143.164.251, and returned the error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds”
“Background updates ensure that WordPress can auto-update if a security update is released for the version you are currently using.
Warning Couldn’t retrieve a list of the checksums for WordPress 6.0. This could mean that connections are failing to ww.wp.xz.cn.”
I’m also not able to reach ww.wp.xz.cn to download or update plugins. However if I refresh enough, then sometimes I catch a break and can manage to get a connection for a few minutes.
The sites are up and running, but do seem sluggish to me.
