    SOLVED. It was one line of code in my child theme’s functions.php file relating to renaming a Woocommerce page.

    Here’s the block:

    /*Change title of Woocommerce Thank You page*/
    function bk_title_order_received( $title, $id ) {
    if ( is_order_received_page() && get_the_ID() === $id ) {
    $title = “Your request has been sent to the Ad Savior.”;
    }
    return $title;
    }
    add_filter( ‘the_title’, ‘bk_title_order_received’, 10, 2 );

    The very last line (add_filter) is what makes everything go haywire. Don’t know why. No longer care. I know I made this changes prior to the last major Woocommerce update, so I’m sure that has something to do with it. But whatever, I’m back up to the current version of UFAQ. Thanks for all your help!

    Your last suggestion has narrowed it down. I’d deleted all the extraneous themes, but I switched from my child to the standard Divi theme install and everything went back to working (note to self: check this first next time). So it’s something in my child theme that I have to account for. If you have any idea of what to look at, I’m all ears (I’m not a dev, I just play one on TV). Otherwise, I shall bug you about this no more except to let you know what the issue was in case someone else encounters it.

    Thanks!

    I can’t turn off password protection on my staging site (my host forces it on for staging). But the credentials are the same (flywheel/madly-pancake).

    I don’t have an caching plugins, and the site is updating as I change UFAQ plugin versions. Although I’m less concerned about that odd font anomaly than the complete failure that happens with 1.5.35.

    Is there anywhere specific I should be looking at upon page load that might give me a hint? Thanks.

    Wow, that’s strange. No, I haven’t done anything to the site for quite a while aside from updates to plugins and the theme (Divi). I’m still seeing the A (+) and a (-, opened) on my end, but I do see that it’s back to the plusses on my phone. Maybe there’s a font/media size call somewhere that’s tripping things up a little in 1.5.0 and then goes completely nuts in 1.5.35.

    I updated the plugin to 1.5.39 so that tabs on product pages will now be broken. All the info from the tabs in now on one tab, with all FAQs missing. The main FAQ page is no blank. http://staging.adsavior.flywheelsites.com/product/headlines-pick-one/

    Thanks,

    Jason

    Okay, I finally managed to do some testing. Used WP Rollback to go through various versions of the plugin, and here’s what I found:

    1.4.5 — Last version that completely works

    1.5.0 – 1.5.34 — Works, but my + sign (the icon by the FAQs) is now replaced with A or a.

    1.5.35 — Breaks completely. My main FAQ page won’t load and the tabs on my Woocommerce product pages are jacked up with no FAQs present.

    I have left version 1.5.34 installed on my staging site. You can view it at staging.adsavior.flywheelsites.com – user: flywheel; pw: madly-pancake (that’s just to view, so no worries being public)

    Thanks.

    I haven’t, yet, but also haven’t had time to sort through plugins. Will give you a shout if I can’t narrow it down. Thanks!

    There shouldn’t have been any reason I skipped updating, unless your updates have been rather frequent of late. I don’t need to update that particular site too often. I developed it, but I’m not a dev by trade, so I tend to leave things alone once I have them working.

    I deleted and re-installed. Same effect. I’ll try deactivating other plugins and then updating to see if I can track down a conflict. Thanks.

    It works! And there was much rejoicing. Thanks. And thanks for the plugin. This my first time doing a donation site and Give made it much easier. Was also the only plug I found that did things I needed, even though I didn’t think they were that complex.
