Yeah, we updated to 5.0 and the behavior is the same unfortunately.
@ryanhungate, On the wordpress side, we don’t have any caching plugins turned on. The host has said in the past that they’re not running any bigtime caching on the server side. (Whether that’s true, who knows)
It is happening on all new orders coming in on an ongoing basis. It seemed to work when we first installed the plugin a couple months ago, but unfortunately I didn’t notice when this checkbox behavior first started.
Along the way for troubleshooting, we’ve tried doing a resync, and also tried disconnecting from Mailchimp and deleting / reinstalling the plugin. Didn’t make any difference. I also tried going to the “opt-out” setting instead of opt-in. But even when someone *un*-clicked the checkbox… it still subbed them.
