You’re right, I checked with the twenty twelve but the icons weren’t appearing so y went to the “Menu” tab and I selected the default menu and the icons appear in twenty twelve, do you know a way to make the plugin work for that base template?

It isn’t a plugin it’s a template made with with this base template:

And the plug-in works great in the footer menu, just doesn’t work in the principal menu.
and another strange thing it’s that if I repeat a class like “icon-home” in two menu elements, it doesn’t display any of the two it the top menu, but in the footer links it’s all ok, I’ve made a online version of the site:

I’ll let the plugin active with two elements in the menu with the class “icon-home” so you can see what I’m talking about
