Thanks but I was told this issue was a development issue and not a problem with the plugin. It works great but I’m trying to do something outside the normal use case of the plugin short code functionality. So, if anyone has any ideas how to get the plugin to recognize the passed url ID that would be awesome.
I did re-submit the question through the member’s area support! Thanks again it really is a great plugin, this is just a very unique case.
@photocrati Sorry, thanks for the response…figured I was forgetting something
Here is a link to the page that isn’t working

Here is a link to the one that is (just click on the last box in the top row to get the modal window with the gallery embedded in it)

It just has me stumped that it pulls up in one instance and not the other????
This would be a FANTASTIC addition…being able to have the next upcoming event show up automatically on a page is the only “major” flaw I see with the calendar…since the default WP post for an call is when it was posted! It is an excellent plugin!! It really is…
Ok..had an scheduled post not post to Facebook or Twitter without me going in and “updating” the post with the Twitter and Facebook boxes ticked…also I get this error message once I do that
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfs/c09/h02/mnt/129535/domains/technologykilledmyhamster.com/html/wp-content/plugins/wordsocial/inc/services/twitter.php on line 136

I might be able to shed some light…I have found that if I set a date for the WordSocial plugin to post rather than publish immediately it doesn’t automatically post the link anywhere. Also when I do post these files on the day they are scheduled they launch but I get an error message. When the next post gets auto-publishded I will copy the error messages here for you.
This is a fantastic plugin btw!
yeah obviously that works but the quantity of pictures will change often and I won’t be doing the changing so going in and adjusting the CSS every time you add or remove pictures is unrealistic. The div needs to have no width or a width:auto so it adjusts to the number of pictures in the gallery row…I’ll figure it out I’m sure… 🙂
Thnks for the response Joseph but for me at least that’s not quite right. Basically I want the gallery to act just as it does normally but instead of wrapping the thumbnails they just keep going on and on without a limit to the width (which is what forces them to wrap) I’ve been playing with creating template files and have even written a javascript that “estimates” the width as the graphics load but they still wrap…a most puzzling challenge.
Looking for a similar solution…am trying to combine the NextGen Gallery with a Smoothscroll jquery that allows the user to scroll the main content window left and right but nextgen finds the first absolute value width and wraps the images around to another line.
Basically I want the images to continue in one infinite row ignoring all width. I’ve changed every width to auto or 100%.
Any ideas?

In reply to: Here goes nothing….yeah…I think the only real problem is that there is just so much going on… tons of links on the right, as well as the left sort of pulls attention away from the content in the middle

In reply to: Alright, My-moments Up with a new skinyeah my only comment is to repeat davincim… I think it’s great good calm/cool color choice but the terxt looks a wee bit “washed out” I would recommend darkening it a shade or two to make it pop a little more…but not too much then you’ll lose that whole Zen vibe you’ve got going… if you could find a place to incorporate the butterfly from the splash page that would be sweet… I like that button
