Hello,
1. In Google Tag Manager, your container ID is, formatted as “GTM-XXXXXX”.
2. If you need to do the advanced settings, you’d have to register an application in the Google API Console. Please see step 1 in this guide: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/config/mgmt/v3/quickstart/installed-javaAdditional Notes:
Step 2 is likely more work than necessary; most users would not require the advanced settings.Analytics (the old way) currently has more features such as event tracking.
It would be alright to use gtag.js for all your other tags, and use analytics.js for GA until gtag catches up (or Google changes everything again) if you want the better features.
Hi There,
You’d need to implement a third party plugin for WooCommerce. There are a few options, including:
1) https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enhanced-e-commerce-for-woocommerce-store/
2) https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/You need both GADWP and one of the plugins mentioned above.
In your WooCommerce tracking plugin of choice, you will need to disable basic tracking, since GADWP will handle the main tracking code.
Dynamic re-marketing would need to implemented independently.
Hi There,
What version of the plugin do you have installed?
The menu icon is showing for me in the latest version.
However, it’s not being pulled from that assets folder URL, rather it’s using the dashicons font for the icon.
If you delete the plugin and reinstall it does the issue persist?
If not, can you test if another theme or plugin is causing this issue?
Thanks!
Hello, For MU sites in subdirectories, you’ll need to create a filter for those individual views to only include the contents of that subdirectory.
Be sure to have created an unfiltered view, that you never add any filters to. Because filters are destructive, and the data can never be recovered.
So adding filters in GA is to be done very carefully and cautiously, and should only be done as a last resort. Segments are typically a better solution, but not applicable in this case.

Hi There,
Please check if you are authorizing the plugin with the right Google account and that at least one Property is available on the respective account.
If that doesn’t work then you might want to try to uninstall and reinstall the plugin? This way all plugin’s settings will reset.
It might be an error loop generated by an old property you don’t have access to anymore.
Thank you!
Chris found the fix for the issue a minute while I was replying, it’ll be fixed in the next release.
Cheers,
Jay

Hi John,
You have Google Analytics tracking code installed too many times on your site.
You’ll need to remove the other instance of the Google Analytics tracking code, because this is probably what is messing up the tracking.
Please see our guide on how to find the tracking code: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-find-duplicate-google-analytics-tracking-codes-in-wordpress/
It includes examples of the most common places that code can be found.
If that still doesn’t help, please contact us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/
Hi Jason,
Video event tracking will be added in the future.
Other events that can be tracked in Pro include Affiliate Link Tracking, Forms Submission Tracking, and eCommerce Tracking with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.
Additionally, MonsterInsights is extensible, so any other sort of event tracking you can implement with Google Analytics can be added to MonsterInsights with some custom code or the assistance of a developer.

Hi Caroline,
If the only tag in that container is the Google Analytics tag, and you aren’t going to use any other tags at this time, you might want to remove the entire GTM tag from your website.
Typically, that code is found in your theme’s settings, or under Appearance > Editor > Header.php or in the Insert Headers and Footers Plugin (if you happen to have that plugin installed) or a similar plugin.
If, however, you have other tags in the Google Tag Manager container, then you would want to remove the Analytics Tag from within the GTM dialogue:
You’ll want to navigate to https://tagmanager.google.com/#/home.
Find the container that has GTM-PFNM6M3 (on the right at the above link) and click it.
- Click the Container Name.
- Click “Tags” on the Left.
- Then Click the Analytics Tag
- In the right hand corner: Click the three dots and then click delete on the drop-down.

Thank you!
