Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: need help with security of my wordpress sitethanks for the help. i am upgrading to the new version. when i have to log into wp admin to upgrade the site (after copying files to the server) i get this message:
Warning: main(../wp-load.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/users/freethc/blog/wordpress/wp-admin/admin.php on line 19
Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘../wp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /usr/www/users/freethc/blog/wordpress/wp-admin/admin.php on line 19
i cant log on to do the upgrade, and my site is also down. i think it has something to do with my config file, i did not change it?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: install error: “already installed”I get exactly the same error message as in the link above.
However, I am using SQL4.0 so don’t understand why there is a problem.
I confirmed with my hosting service that my config file was correct. (Note: it was incorrect when I first installed. I then simply deleted the WordPress folder from my FTP site, and pasted it again, and re-installed. No luck).
how can I clear it out completely, and then re-install? My server information:
