  • Hey @michalrama,
If I am getting you correctly, it is indeed possible to add existing pages and posts to your sidebar in your theme Blocksy without the need for additional plugins. Now there are two ways as per my understanding: –

    • In the Appearance -> Widgets section
    • (In this section, you will find a variety of widget areas.)
    • In the “Main Sidebar” heading, when you will click on, will find “Recent Posts”, “Recent Comments”, “Achieves”, “Categories” etc. (based on your website content and setup)
    • Here you will find what you are supposed to display in the Main Sidebar
    • You can also configure it by adding a title, selecting the number of posts to show, and choosing whether to display the post date or not and so on
    • Same goes with the Page widget in the widgets section.
    • Once done, press the Save button.

This is a beginner approach; in case you don’t know about this in the theme.

2- If you want to display a button to your sidebar & it should display your existing posts and pages

    Here’s the steps: –

    • You need to select the sidebar visibility option under Appearance -> Customize -> Go to Sidebar option -> (under customizing sidebar) -> Sidebar Visibility (select all icons i.e., Laptop, Tab, Mobile), also select Mobile Sidebar Position to TOP under the same.
    • This will show your sidebar, and you can customize your sidebar and the data to be displayed in the sidebar the same way as described in above points.

In this case there can be an issue that the sidebar Hamberger menu won’t appear on the Laptop screen or your display size, because I think there is some issue with the CSS of the theme, because when I tried the same theme in my localhost, its working only when I am changing the size of the screen (using dev tools in browser or simply opening browser in custom size window) even when selected all device options under sidebar visibility, for that you can use a simple CSS.

I hope this information is helpful and work as per your requirement. If you require further assistance or clarification, please do not hesitate to discuss. Thanks & Good Luck! 😊

As per my previous experience, with the WordPress this can be done by using some widgets, if your theme supports for that, looking towards the site it’s hard to answer from myside that if Your theme does support a widget for viewing content in the sidebar, but you can try this

    • Go to your Appearance Option in Dashboard
    • Then to the widgets page & add a list widget to your WordPress site’s sidebar.
    • You can then add titles of the posts you want to feature as a bulleted list

Currently when I have seen the site i.e., Foreign relations – Chamber of Commerce (komora.cz), its only showing option of English and Czech, so I am not very sure if that’s what you are asking which I suggested. But if you find it helpful, please let me know, or if you can explain your need in some more detail I can surely try to help!☺
