Pages with smart slider worked.
The issue affected the main pictures on the page – they disappeared.
There’s a different slider on the front page but no idea why Director’s choice slider worked and others didn’t, sorry.

Every page was affected except the front page and Director’s Choice.
http://www.snowchateaux.com/jobs was where I first noticed the issue.
I’ll enable the plug-in and take keep JS optimisation off.
