Manually replacing the corrupted files as you did has restored the plugin and the website. We have e had no further issues. That’s great because the plugin has worked very well for us and our client. We have been very satisfied with its performance and the add-one. Thanks again.
Success! For others who may face this issue:
The host did the following:
“disabled other mod_seurity rules for your accounts which were detected in server error logs.”
“Whitelisting” was not enough and had no affect. Disabling the mod_security rules for the account now allows me to save the scores.

Host company is suspecting ModSecurity and are checking to see what triggered it. I will get back to you with what I find out.
Thank you for your response. I did try the plugin on a site with the 2017 Theme and all plugins disabled. I got an Permission Denied 403 error this time.

I have put a ticket in to my hosting company for help.

I’m trying to find a site that isn’t in production that I can completely deactivate all plugins and change the theme. I will get back to you on that.
P.S. This is happening only on Chrome desktop. Not FireFox or on Mobile.
