Same result with “cache thumbnails locally” active or not.

I played with more SPAI settings and turned off the “Minify the CSS, replace background image URLs and serve the CSS files from the CDN” setting and it worked.

Not sure if this is the best workaround, but it works. Just not certain of the side-effects yet.
