Hello,
Thanks for replying.
I tried the shortcodes under New Term and it’s not working. Also, these shortcodes looks the same with same with ‘New Category’?
Thank you.
I see. I’ll be waiting for the update then. Thank you!

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Search, autocomplete ON, tagsThank you, the new attribute now works. Also, I’ve done some testing after the update and it seems that a number of issues and requests that I have put in this post are fixed/done, particularly the following:
- Extra texts at the bottom of the page when FAQ Auto Complete Titles is turned on
- Clicking tags when search feature is enabled
- Search feature enhancements, i.e. show all FAQ list upon page load, search within the filtered FAQ list
The only remaining left is the ability to hide the Tags section of individual FAQs when there are no tags added. May I ask if your team has come to a conclusion whether this functionality will be implemented? If there are no further plans on that yet, then feel free to mark this topic as resolved.
Thank you so much for the updates!

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Search, autocomplete ON, tagsGood day!
I noticed that there was an update on the plugin. It says on the changelog that on version 1.2.8.
Added an attribute, show_on_load, which will show all FAQs when the page first loads and then refresh the results when a visitor adds a search term
However, when I tried to update and use the attribute, for example
[ultimate-faq-search show_on_load], the FAQ list still don’t show on page load. It does show when you tried to enter a keyword in the search and then remove it.Am I using the attribute wrong? Please advise. Thank you!

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Search, autocomplete ON, tagsHello,
I see. Im going to disable the tags until the issue is fixed. Thank you!
For the enhancement, I’ll do my best to explain my use case. I’m assuming that when the issue with the tags gets fixed, then it would have a similar behavior when it’s just displaying all faq (using shortcode [ultimate-faqs])- which is, when a tag is clicked, it will reload the page and will filter the FAQ list based on the tag (seen in the query string of the URL).
For my use case, my FAQ would be similar to this page. I found the link on this thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/use-search-field-for-filtering?replies=3. You would see that the behavior of the search is that it automatically filters the FAQ list upon input on the search field. Now, if there is a tagged click, then upon page load, it would have already filtered the FAQ list. My desired behavior is that if the FAQ list is already filtered by the tag, then upon searching, it should only search within that list.
I understand that I have this scenario because I altered the original behavior of the search. Regardless, I believe that the search feature makes this plugin better than others. So I’m hoping that this request would be considered as it empowers and gives more functionality to the search.
Once again, I’m thankful for all the help. Have a good day!

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Search, autocomplete ON, tagsHello,
Due to some confidential information in our internal website, I’m not allowed to share the FAQ page with you. Sorry about that. Weren’t you able to replicate the issue in your local environment? Anyway, this issue is not the top priority. I’ve temporarily turned off the autocomplete feature of the search.
The remaining issue would be the tags on each FAQ answer. Also, if possible, can the Tags section of an FAQ be hidden if there’s no tags added for that specific FAQ? Right now, you can only configure the ON/OFF for all FAQs. But in my use case, some FAQs have tags, other don’t.
Thanks for answering my other inquiries!
