Ok got it working and I LOVE it.

Now, once I enable Float Mode I get a text box of a particular size that is either left or right justified, whereas without float mode the text box extends from the left margin to the right margin (without any other parameters set).

Can I change the size of this text box if using float mode.

So I imported the Excel SS into Google Docs and published it. Grabbed the HTML code and posted it to a WP page. Works great except the top row is not “frozen” and, of course, I cannot sort on columns. This solution will work ,however, not exactly what I wanted.
