I like the button as you can see how I used it. I am not specific with the plugin program. What I aim for is that the video can be played in a small screen within my website. I don’t like it to be playd in another page. Maybe, you can suggest other plugins that will work better with maxbutton. ThanksStill can’t find a solution to this. Thanks anyway.

Regarding your instruction, I was able to do this before. After your email, I tried it again. I even reset the lightbox so that all setting will go to default.
After pressing the button, a lightbox appears but the ff sentence appeared: “This content failed to load”Without the “lightbox” in the custom rel field, pressing the button opens the you tube link in another page.
I’m not sure now if it has anything to do with the theme but these plugins work independently in it.
I’m new in this forum. I don’t know how I can show my website so you could take a look at the codes.
Hi Bas. I reveiwed lightbox documentation and saw the ff:
“Add a rel=”lightbox[uniqueID|filename]” attribute to any link tag to activate the lightbox, include a name between square brackets in the rel attribute”I think this is where you got the above suggestion. I am confused because this is not what it seems in the settings. So maybe they did not anymore revice the documentation when they revised the settings??

I know we are getting near the solution but not quite.Setting up lightbox creates what it calls: secondary class name.
The ff is the note from lightbox: “If checked, Lightbox Plus Colorbox will only lightbox images using a class instead of the rel=lightbox[] attribute. Using this method you can manually control which images are affected by Lightbox Plus Colorbox by adding the class to the Advanced Link Settings in the WordPress Edit Image tool or by adding it to the image link URL and checking the Do Not Auto-Lightbox Images option. “Below is an example of how to use lightbox. “lbpModal” is the secondary class name generated by Lightbox in its settings page.

Maxbutton on the other hand creates shortcode during button set-up. Example: [maxbutton id=”2″]
You also have to input the URL in the set-upSo your suggestion for placing lightbox[1] in the custome rel tag is rather confusing. I have tried putting lightbox[] but nothing happened
Also, there are several lightbox plugins. What I am trying to use is the Lightbox Plus Colorbox plugin.

My narration before is quite long but basically I have just one major question – How could I use maxbutton together with Lightbox Plus Colorbox.
I don’t see any problem with the theme I used.
These plugins function properly on their own in the theme.
Maxbutton creates a shortcode. Lightbox creates a secondary class name.
The sequence would be: pressing button created thru maxbutton would open a youtube video surrounded by lightbox which appear without within the page and no need to open the video in another page.
I just need to understand how these 2 plugins could work together.
