Notice above each post there should be an image and all you see is the alt text. (alt text is the image name right now, so it’s funky – ignore that 🙂
Thanks again!

In reply to: How can I make the post content only scroll over the pageYeah, I know what you mean. I actually almost had what I wanted by applying the background-attachment:fixed attribute to the wrapper. It is keeping the background fixed so that I can just scroll the content. But it’s not quite there. The length of the content exceeds the length of the page, so as it scrolls up for some reason, the body bg color scrolls up with it and cuts off the fixed background image. But the lengthy content is why I wanted to include the fixed background with the scrollable content. Otherwise, as the user scrolls they see the page end while the content keeps going.
Do you or anyone know how to make it so the body background color doesn’t cut off the background image as it scrolls up?

In reply to: Clear Line Theme – Loading very slowly – please helpOkay, I’ll look into those things. I’m really curious about the CSS Optimization doc. – Thank you so much for your help!
This theme uses a css.php file for most of it’s styles rather than using the stylesheet.css because it has an interface for the user to control the css (which I don’t need). Do you think it would help to remove that file and insert all my styles into the stylesheet.css file?
Thanks again!

In reply to: Clear Line Theme – Loading very slowly – please helpWeird. I tried several different computers w/ different services. Some do load faster, but the fastest it seems to load is about 2 secs (which I can live with) but the client will not put up with 4 secs. He specifically said he wants fast loading time. Other CMS sites seem to load faster on my machine than mine. Do you know of what I can do to make it lighter? I don’t need any of the files that are used for the CSS interface since I am using my own css. Would it speed things up to get rid of some of those files the pages are calling to?

In reply to: Tags issueActually, maybe it is. It doesn’t seem to be working properly though. I’ll have to look into it more. I downloaded HeadSpace2 plugin, maybe it appeared when I did that.

In reply to: Tags issueOh. I thought they did because there’s a tags field inside the page w/in the admin screen…I wonder why that’s there then. Thanks!

In reply to: Tags issueThese are page tags though. I am building more of a content management site for a client, so this isn’t a blogging site with posts, it’s mostly using pages…Thanks!

In reply to: Is there a plugin that allows diff sidebar links for each page?Okay, pardon my stupidity here. For some reason when I initially tried to include additional page widgets to the same area of the sidebar, it wasn’t letting me for some reason, so I assumed this wasn’t possible. It must have been a user error. So, maybe I can do what I’m wanting to do after all with the Slayer’s widget. I’ll try again. Thanks again for the help!

In reply to: Is there a plugin that allows diff sidebar links for each page?Thank you for the list. I looked at the plugins listed and decided to upload the “Slayers-custom-widgets”. The problem I’m having is that I want the parent page to display the child subpages associated to it in the sidebar. Therefore, each sidebar will be different for each page and as far as I can tell these only allow one “pages” widget to be created for each section of the sidebar. I saw a post for “slayers” plugin praising it for it’s simplicity because it didn’t require creating multiple sidebars, which is something that I think I actually need to obtain my goals. Is there a plugin that can do this for me?

In reply to: Can anyone tell me…Also, I should probably state, that the theme I am using is “Pressplay”. – Thanks!
