Hope they will fix this in an official update.
This has been a very convenient shortcode so far and Shortcodes Ultimate has been a timesaver and convenient to work with.
Now I am having to find workarounds for this particular issue after having the site go SSL.

Sort of an embarrassing moment here…
I did find another way to get an image into the blog using the “Add Media” button. This does seem preferable at this point and I see the “add featured image” works for something else.
I’ve found a workaround for the blog then, but I still believe adding a featured image should not be set in stone for a length-width ratio. I could see in some pages this would result in “untidy” backgrounds for what I perceive this feature to be, so perhaps a check box to ask to preserve the ratio of the original or not for the “featured image” would be a good compromise.
