Just in case it might help others, disabling canonical redirect helped.
This worked in my case after lot of trial and error, googling and spending almost the entire day going back and forth with Ben the plugin author.http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/redirect_canonical
remove_filter('template_redirect', 'redirect_canonical');Here is where I found the workaround:

I tried the above steps but still didn’t work. I’ll open a new thread on the wcvendors.com help forum as suggested.

1. Network deactivate the Wangguard
2. Activate on the site
3. Network activate and then deactivate againInsane but works.
