In reply to: Another “file type is not permitted for security reasons” ProblemThanks. I’ll go back in and delete it. I’m going to abandon this effort, and instead upload the video to YouTube and just post the link. That was what I wanted to do, originally, but I was trying to accommodate a request.

In reply to: Another “file type is not permitted for security reasons” ProblemI went into the wp-config.php and inserted define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true);. This allowed the file to upload successfully. However, I can’t get the video to play. So, I suspect the problem is with the file, itself.

In reply to: Another “file type is not permitted for security reasons” ProblemMake believe you’re dealing with a child. I’ve never debugged anything. I installed Query Monitor and attempted the upload so it would capture an error or something. Nothing was logged.

I had the same problem today. The expected email wasn’t received, and was not in the spam folder.
