In reply to: [SeatReg] Search by Seat Number in the Web-Based Companion AppThis is very strange. I tested last night and this morning using existing Seat numbers. The results were mostly zero. Now I’m testing again and everything works perfectly.
All’s well that ends well!
Thanks, you’re simply the best. 👍

In reply to: [SeatReg] Search by Seat Number in the Web-Based Companion AppI’ve done some tests with existing seat numbers (places in my case) such as N97, Z7, R15, etc. I either get incorrect results or no results at all.
Could this be related to the fact that I’m working with 11 rooms (streets in my case)? The first room is also an overview map without any seats. The other rooms each have their own prefix.
Thanks in advance for looking into this!

In reply to: [SeatReg] Backend saving returns ‘Undefined’ + layout lock issueHey,
Sorry for the late response. My wife had other tasks for me. 😉
After a hard reset, everything worked normally again.
I assume that your update will prevent this issue in the future.
Thank you very much!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [SeatReg] E-Mail notification when a blocked seat is booked pendingSince my native language isn’t English, I hope I’ve expressed myself correctly. My question isn’t about the notification I mentioned, but rather about an email being sent to the address provided by the administrator. The email states that the booking is pending.

In reply to: [SeatReg] Booking approval informationA few more minor notes: although the translation into my language is 100% accurate, the words “approved” and “file generated” are in the PDF file still in English.
By the way, the reordering of the rooms works perfectly too!

In reply to: [SeatReg] Translation companion web appThx Siim!
@bobocop: Since December 17th, there’s also a web version of the (Android) app. This version works on all browsers, regardless of your operating system. So you don’t need to install an app. This is the version I was referring to.

In reply to: [SeatReg] Translation companion web app@bobocop: I’ve checked the Dutch (Belgian) translation of the Seatreg plugin and even of WordPress itself. If I’m not mistaken, both are 100% translated and approved. Therefore, I don’t quite understand why the companion web app is still entirely in English.

In reply to: [SeatReg] Booking approval informationIn the meantime, I’ve checked my settings and done some testing.
I usually use the Telenet webmail client (Telenet is one of the largest internet providers in Belgium). The QR code always appears as an attachment. I have the same problem when I open my Telenet email in the iOS mail app on my iPad. I always have to print the QR code separately. I know you can specify that attachments should also be printed when printing, but I’m afraid the average user isn’t familiar with this.
I’ve also done a few tests with my Gmail email address. The QR code always appears as an attachment there as well. It is automatically printed at the bottom of the email.
I don’t know what other users of your plugin think about this, but I have the following suggestion: I believe a solution would be to include a direct link to a printable entrance ticket (PDF) in the approval email, this in addition to the link to the booking status. The participant can then choose whether to print this ticket or show it on their smartphone. Perhaps you could later provide that the administrator can customize the ticket’s design if desired (logo, organizer information, event description, etc.).
What’s your opinion on this? Sorry to keep harping on.
