indeed it’s permission issue and fixed the same with the help of below article.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply. yes, we have whitelisted the above IP’s in our firewall and able to update plugins without an issue but while updating WordPress we are getting the below error. from a permission perspective, everything looks fine and we suspect the firewall is causing this issue. Kindly help

192.0.77.48,198.143.164.250,198.143.164.252 IP’s are already whitelisted in our firewall
