Hi Pippin,
Many thanks for getting back to me so soon.
I’m glad that I can rule out your plugin! I’ll fire off a query to PayPal because somebody as big as they are, really shouldn’t be proud of a system that is that inconsistent.
Many thanks again.
Cheers,
JeffHi Pippin,
Many thanks for getting back to me. From the front end, everything does indeed work fine, with purchases and download emails working flawlessly.
It was just a little disconcerting seeing the ajax alert message.
I’ll gladly dismiss the notice. Many thanks again.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] I activate W3TC and my site dies immediately! Any clues?Hi Mainspring, Thank you for your replies. Followed your link and I’m happy to try their recommendations, however, I’m a somewhat unimpressed by the response from the plugin author.
This problem seems to be more that the odd flash in the pan and when you’re faced with an issue that renders your site useless, a better response from the plugin creators wouldn’t go amiss. Thanks again for your response.

Cheers,
