If you are using the Classic Editor, then you may be able to construct the shortcode for your page by hand.

Thanks for the info! Since everything works when I have the API key and Access Token entered into settings I might just add them when I need to edit or add albums and then remove them once I publish. Seems a little easier than doing it by hand every time.

If I understand correctly, your album is not hidden… but some photos in your album are?

My albums are unlisted, meaning they can only be accessed with the direct link. That portion works fine. But yes, there are hidden photos in the album that only a logged in user can see.

Where do you see this error? In the back-end when constructing a gallery? Or in the front-end, when a user like me is trying to access your page?

On the back-end, here is a screenshot of the error:

It happens when I try with “current user” and when I manually do it with “Another user” as well.
