i recently had the same problem and fixed it. firstly, what i did to fix it was find 3 files, admin-functions (in wp-admin), edit-pages (also in wp-admin) and post-template (in wp-includes), your going to want to delete these 3 files but before you do so make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of wp. after deleting the 3 files, upload the same files from the newest version. pretty simple. thats what i did to fix it. hope this helped 😛Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: None users cant post commentsits 4:30 am and i need sleep, i couldnt figure out how to make a simple wp forum post so hopefully if people are still having this problem they will find my responce. i recently had the problem with posts saying comments are closed even with the “Allow people to post comments on the article” option in settings>discussion checked. the way i solved it was by manually going to each post (manage>posts) and scrolling down to the bottom where it says “comments and pings”. opened that part up and sure enough the ‘allow comments’ box was unchecked. its very simple and possibly noobish. hope this helped someone.
