On further investigation, an integration is required by Coinbase Commerce into Woocommerce Blocks. This new React based Woocommerce single page checkout is still in relatively early stages, but has had a large increase in adoption in the past several months.

It appears that no other Woocommerce crypto payment services support this new Woocommerce checkout yet, so there is an opportunity for first mover advantage.

From the above issue:

there is opportunity for payment methods/gateways to integrate with the Checkout blocks using the current available API interfaces. Best next step is to ask the individual payment method extension developers to build the integration.
