I checked in with my Web Host, and they confirmed that the error is on the end of the Plugin, and not with the site. Incidentally, the plugin was always a bit sketchy – sometimes it would add people to my mail chimp mailing list, but other times it wouldn’t, and I would have to add them manually. I always had to double check.
