In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueHi, i got my hostingbay to increase storage limit and it has successfully uploaded, and came up with the files that were extracted.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueCame up with this again
Archive: /home/canbe/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/canbe/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip or
/home/canbe/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip.zip, and cannot find /home/canbe/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip.ZIP, period.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueyes there are two sites (i only just realised the spectrum site was being run from the same cpanel)
yes we are working on “new” not the spectrum one.
all of the wp files are inside the new file.

In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueAlso i’m a complete idiot and didn’t register that it’s saying we’ve well exceeded our disk space. Could this be attributed to the issue – as when i upload its saying -4.25GB
So i would assume i can’t upload anything?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueThat was the only WP-Admin file, except for the Spectrum one (which site is still up but now has issues like images not showing ect.)
Have i just lost my website completely?? Sorry i’m freaking out now.

In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueAlso i now have a server 500 error on the site, now that ive deleted the WP-Admin folder in the new file…

In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueI just did a search for WP-Admin on the file manager and these were what came up.
Spectrum is our big band – it has its own site. The other wp-admin’s are all in a ‘new’ file – i don’t know why it says new. Could the previous administrator have moved it?
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-admin
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-admin/css/wp-admin.css
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-admin/css/wp-admin-rtl.min.css
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-admin/css/wp-admin.min.css
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-admin/css/wp-admin-rtl.css
/public_html/spectrumwp/wp-includes/class-wp-admin-bar.php
/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip

In reply to: Failure to upload/upgrade temporary file issueI did everything up to extracting the WP-Admin zip file, but it came up saying
Archive: /home/canbe/public_html/new/wp-admin.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
