Coincidentally (?) it also says that my backup file MAY be seen by the public, and it suggest to move it from [file location] to ______ and then it’s blank. I don’t know what that means, because I’m no web programmer, I’m a WYSIWYG kinda blogger, and it doesn’t tell me where to move the htaccess file (and I don’t even know how to do that). I’m wondering if others with the images problem are experiencing the same thing, like maybe it’s related or if it’s just coincidental?

Thanks but I can’t get the hotfix to install. I click the link in the text file and enter my domain name and then it asks me if I want to install it to my domain but there is nothing to click. It’s incredibly frustrating. Surely there are more people having the same issue?

I’ve tried on Firefox and Safari. Firefox won’t even let me click on the add media buttons and safari will let me go all the way through but when I hit insert into post or whatever, the screen just goes blank. Please somebody help! I haven’t been able to upload pictures in over a week.

I just downgraded my installation but I have the same problems. On either version, I can no longer even click on the photo icon. It just doesn’t do anything. SOMEONE AT WORDPRESS PLEASE HELP AND FIX THIS! My blog is useless without picture posting functions…

Yeah, I’m using FireFox as well (the latest version), so I don’t think that’s it, although I am by no means a techie (which is why I chose WP in the first place) 🙂

I’m having the same issues. Since upgrading wordpress, I cannot post a picture–I go through all the steps and then I just get a blank page. Also, the latest version is EXTREMELY SLOW!

    Someone please help!
