I don’t know exactly what I did but it is working now. I went through all the steps outlined on the website, reinstalled the plug in according to these instructions https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/imagemagick-engine/#installation, and then downloaded music that I had not uploaded yet, and it seems to work now. It does not like music I formerly uploaded. I don’t know if perhaps the name was too long etc, but I’ll get back to you if I find out. Thank you so much for your work!
