In reply to: [Spectra One] Navigation menu items don’t react on hoverHi @mohsinbsf (and @benzin147),
Thanks for your feedback. I can’t wait for the update! Meanwhile, I have added this line to the global CSS – it underlines the selected menu item, which should do for now:
.wp-block-navigation-item:hover {
text-decoration-line: underline;

In reply to: [Spectra One] Navigation menu items don’t react on hoverThanks for the feedback mate : I fell less alone now. And you are right : the new block system in WP still needs polish – and I imagine that for Theme providers this is quite challenging. I have chosen to go with Spectra One Theme because they have the track record of Astra. My bet is that they will do the necessary work required to iron out bugs, like they did in the past – while finding the time to check support forums too :-D.
Brilliant! Thank you for your awesome work man.
I have done some additional tests.
I’ve just installed a brand new web site, new domain name, fresh database:
-WP 4.6.1.
-Plugin : woocommerce 2.6.4.
-Theme : storefront 2.1.3.
-One test product.I confirm there is an issue/bug with star display and storefront: when lightbox checkbox is off on woocommerce options, on single product page stars are displayed as gargabe/boxes on Firefox and Chrome. Tested with Deli storefront child: same issue. With Twenty Fourteen theme, stars are displayed ok.
Hope you’ll able to sort this out.
Hi!
Thank you for taking the time to look into it. I appreciate the help.
Here is what I’ve just done :
1- create a staging site with WP staging
2- first deactivate caching & security plugins
3- switch to Storefront parent theme
4- uncheck lightbox
5- verify if stars went back on a selected product page (3 page refresh just ot be sure!)
6- deactivate a new plugin
7- goto 5 until all plugin are OFFAt the end, only active plugins are Woocommerce and WP Staging.
But still no stars. 🙁 And stars are back when I check lightbox again.
I rule out WP staging because when I found out about this few weeks ago, it was not installed. On production site, I have unckecked lightbox on a troublesome page so you can check what’s going on. All my plugins are ON though. I can still afford to do that because not much traffic sofar. https://acupressu.re/shop/red-rosewood-baoding-balls/
Cheers!
Sorry, I posted too quickly. I copied this to a new topic.
Hi,
Thanks for this great plugin!
After I run a new staging for the second time, plugin has created a second staging image in a folder named 1474587430307. I did not expect this and thought the previous sta folder/database tables would be ovewritten.
I have 2 questions. 1-It this process normal? 2-How can I remove/delete a staging image before creating a new one?

In reply to: [WP Meta SEO] Homepage meta title & description not presentAll right, it’s working now! I’ve previously entered the meta info on the “WP Meta SEO global settings” of the plugin. Thought it was the right thing to do. Guess it’s not.
Please feel free to point me to any available ressources about the plugin, so I do my homework better next time. 😉
Thanks again for your help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Meta SEO] Homepage meta title & description not presentIt is set up as a WordPress page. Also it is set in “reading settings” at “Front page displays: a static page”. FYI I use my own storefront childtheme. Thank you for your patience! 🙂

In reply to: [WP Meta SEO] Homepage meta title & description not presentHi,
Thank you for answering so fast!
Content on the home page is made of one banner image and woocommerce items displayed by shortcodes (new products, weekly selection, product categories…). Plus of course links to other content about company, etc. There isn’t any long text there: that’s why meta information is key.
Cheers.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Snippet for "back to cart" on the checkout pageHi!
If you use breadcrumbs, a quick way to offer an option to return to cart from checkout is to edit the “checkout” page and select “cart” page as its parent. Breadcrumbs then shows home>cart>checkout.
I’ve also made “shop” page a parent of “cart” page, which gives a kind of “continue shopping” option with breadcrumb looking like this: home>shop>cart. That’s my 2 cents…
Hi miniOrange,
Fair enough. I need to know how much does it cost to keep social login after the 30 days? I’ve checked your web site and understand you can offer much more. But I’m interested only by the social login + social sharing feature.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Storefront] Problem with Star RatingMy goodnes I’ve just found it!
Culprit was the lightbox option in Woocommerce/products/display.
I had it OFF for some reasons.
When I put it ON again, all stars went back!
I can’t see any logic in this; anyway I can go on working on my site again. 🙂

In reply to: [Storefront] Problem with Star RatingHi!
I have the *exact* same problem as crocejuice :
Under “Your rating” is some garbage instead of stars.
I have storefront 211, all plugin OFF except woocommerce, I have cleared cache, cookies, etc.
Tried with chrome and with IE (with IE there is just a blank line instead of garbage).
No way.Any idea? I would ne happy to use any trick/patch or even a free plugin to solve this. 😉
Cheers!
PS : no problem whatsoever with default themes, so it is a Storefront issue, not WP.

In reply to: Where is the option to link an image to its post permalink?Hi again. Thank you for taking the time to answer to me. Your psychological support has helped me though. 🙂
After saving my post with a scheduled publish, I’ve edited the image properties again. There still wasn’t any option for linking to the page, but the “customized link” option now featured a full permalink of the post, followed by some data pointing to the image. I’ve just removed this data to get a clean permalink et voila.
So it’s not possible any more to select the permalink for a post image when it’s still in draft mode. You have to publish or schedule it, and *then* edit the link. I don’t want to sound sour, but to me it looks like a WP regression of some sort. But again I might have missed something here and WP is definitely the best piece of software I know!
Cheers all.
