Also (if it helps), sometimes when the page is loading, I can actually see the play button and mute button, right where they’re supposed to be…and then, gone.
So…I’m stumped. 🙁

Clearly, something’s messing up the theme’s ability to display those images, but it CAN display things. 🙁
Thoughts on my next step?

Look at the two audio players above the video…it’s the built-in WP audio player, but there are no ‘play’ buttons!!

I mean, this is the built-in audio service for WordPress…there doesn’t seem to be a conceivable reason that it wouldn’t have the bugs worked out by now.

Good clue; the only problem is that that doesn’t work much better…I can play the audio now, but the players don’t display ‘play’ arrows, which is disconcerting.
Thoughts?
