I figured out my issue, I needed to select the blog format on the right hand side of my page setup. Thank you for all your assistance, I created the page like you said and then selected the blog format and voila!
does it matter that my page is hosted by go daddy? I guess i don’t understand how to create a “blog” page that is not part of the theme i am using. Sorry I am very novice.
