Hi Shawn. I did update to the new version with no luck. I am thinking to migrate all my WordPress sites away from Yahoo. That’s probably the best solution. Regards, Jeff
Hi Shawn,
Congratulations on the new version.
I was wondering if you were able to figure anything out to help with my WordPress-on-Yahoo redirect challenges.
Thanks!
Jeff
Hi Shawn,
Thank you for taking a look at it. Will hold tight.

JeffHello again, Shawn.
So disabling and re-enabling plugins ended up being a short exercise.
I disabled everything. Without the plugin “Customizable Permalinks” which is a Yahoo! Hosting plugin, my site doesn’t really work. So I just turned that one plugin on and continued to get the same error when hitting my page that’s supposed to be redirected.
Could that plugin be the issue? Something possible in the post above?
EDIT: I did also try swapping out the theme to twentyfourteen. Same issue. Thx.
Thanks and I appreciate your help.
Jeff
Hi Shawn,
I checked the spelling and it’s definitely right. I also tried creating some dummy redirects with simple spelling – just in case – and still the same issue.
I’m going to try what you suggested.
One other thought: I’ve got another site running on bluehost (with most of the same plugins) that’s running EPS 301 with no issue. This site with the issue, however, is hosted by Yahoo and I know that yahoo hosting doesn’t run with an .htaccss file. The other difference is that yahoo doesn’t let wordpress get installed in the root directory so the whole site is under /salon/
Could either of those things be the issue?
I will also check with the theme provider.
Thanks for your quick response.
Jeff
