There’s definitely some “interference” between MEMBERS and WP-MEMBERS.
One issue is that of roles. With MEMBERS active I can edit a user and assign multiple USER ROLES to that user – for example, MEMBER, EDITOR, etc. The USER ROLES appear as checkboxes and I can select as many as I want.
When WP-MEMBERS is active, the ROLE list shows up as a dropdown box and I can only select one role. Having multiple roles is important as some parts of our site will be restricted to users with a specific role.
I wonder if I can add a field to WP-MEMBERS that emulates MEMBERS’ USER ROLES?
Any idea if that’s possible? If so how would I go about doing that?
