    Though “Polylang uses the 2-characters ISO 639-1 language code. This code is used to build the URL. For the browser language detection to correctly work, it is best to keep the appropriate ISO 639-1 language code.”

    So it is not recommended to do it through this way as it will affect browser language detection.

    No other work around?
