In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Permalinks – Further Issue :(Yes it does, thanks!
Perfect! Thanks!
Thank you, this has resolved my problem so I’ll close this and mark as solved. It has raised further issues though so I’ll start a new topic.
The wordpress.com account I’m connected to has the primary blog as:
pcgamesnnews.wordpress.com
That’s our old site from 5 years ago, but I don’t know how to set up a different account for our current domain because it’s not hosted on wordpress.com. This has been working fine for years this way though.

In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Permalinks – Further Issue :(Yes, moving it back and forth kind of defeats the purpose.

In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Changing Status From Edit PageMarking as solved

In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Changing Status From Edit PageAhhh I see… well then my problem is caused by the fact that we use the Classic Editor plugin! We used to use Jetpack for this function and it puts an ‘edit’ link next to the status which opens a dropdown to change the status.
Anyway, the mystery is solved, thanks 🙂

In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Plugin Not WorkingWorks like a charm, thanks!

We are using the Classic Editor plugin (extremely popular, 5+ million active installs) and it can be included in the NonCompatible category.
I’m currently using the Pro version in the free trial period and considering whether or not to continue with it after next week. Having easy access to this info would greatly help my decision – I understand you want to show it to free version people, but “in limbo” people like me need to see it too I think. Just a suggestion.
It would be nice to see a comparison table of free vs pro, I can’t find any such thing anywhere.

In reply to: [Extended Post Status] Plugin Not WorkingThanks, I probably should have looked there… long night 🙂
It’s working great, but one thing I’ve noticed is that when you move a post to a custom status it loses the permalink – move it back to drafts and the permalink reappears so it’s not a major issue, but perhaps worth tweaking?

In reply to: Duplicate Email NotificationsYou are correct, it seems to be related to my theme (Oblivion), and only for comments. I’ll play around with the theme and see if I can hunt down the problem. Thanks for the advice.

In reply to: Duplicate Email NotificationsI want one to go to the author and one to the admin. Right now they are getting two copies each, of the same email. 4 emails. This can’t be normal..?
I’ve tested this with no plugins, on a post by a normal author and comment by an outside name/email not a member of the site. Admin and author each receive 2 copies of the same message.
