    Thank you for the reply. I will update my stars as I now know the newer version is better…

    However, other plugins have put up a banner on the dashboard that give that instruction. With all of my sites, and all the plugins I have, I rarely check out each update unless there is a banner that shows up telling me there is something else to do.

    With this update, I just knew that the name of the plugin changed, and the slideshow wasn’t there.

    My webhost updated php to version 5.3.3 at which time your error appeared on my sites. It was working fine until that update.

    They sent me a note saying that ec3 uses deprecated code.

    If I was a better programmer, I think I could figure it out.

    Is anyone reading this good enough to figure it out? I miss having a working ec3 – it was great when it worked!
