  • I’m seeing the trailing slash only on the root homepage (i.e., the front page). All other inner pages do not have the trailing slash. I tried the steps above but they didn’t resolve. Is there a way to remove the trailing slash on the root/front page?

Yeah, I don’t have a staging site currently. Haven’t had the need for one up until now, though I realize that’s probably good practice to get in place at some point.

I installed the child theme and added that snippet of code. It does appear to have resolved my issue, as I just received an email for the test I set up.

Perhaps my next step here would be to reach out to WP Mail SMTP and inquire about the use of that header for the Office 365 connector? If the header is valid, and some light research on my side confirms your comment that it should be, then maybe the issue on their side.

Thanks for your reply. It will be tricky for me to perform this test because other parts of our site are leaning on Office 365 for reliable email delivery w/ SPF and DMARC in place (for form submissions, whitepaper deliver, etc.) Using the other connectors, all these emails were landing in Junk Mail. I’ll explore how to test this while mitigating impact to those other areas.

I will say that before switching over to the Office 365 connector, this plugin was sending email fine. And now that I’m on the Office 365 connector, Broken Link Checker is the only plugin of the bunch exhibiting this issue.

I’m assuming that your team is adding the Auto-Submitted header. I haven’t yet looked at whether that could be coming from somewhere else.

    Thanks!
