From what I can tell, the error appears to be within QTags, as selectionStart is set to 0 in the visual editor…at all times it appears(unless you go into the HTML editor – which is the actual textarea being used – and move the cursor in there, then the selectionStart changes, but resets going back to the visual editor). Going in to HTML editing the insert works properly for Crayon. Crayon also inserts correctly in Visual mode in Chrome. I don’t know QTags or TinyMCE well enough to try and debug it further, so I don’t know how to solve this – but again, I don’t think it is an error with the Crayon plugin.
Just my opinion though – if you can fix it, I am all for it.
I have the same issue. I haven’t tried to use it since I last updated the plugin so I am guessing that is the reason..or firefox updating. I haven’t had a chance to look at why it might be happening yet.
