In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesHi @riaanknoetze,
I apologize for my previous response; I realize it may have come across as aggressive.
Your help has been immense, Riaan! It completely solved my problem. Now, not only is the entire site pricing correct, but it also works perfectly with the invoicing software, which has automated and resolved many of our issues.
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesGuys, are you really trying to sell me a plugin to correct a problem from your product?…..Damn.
Because I think we can conclude that my original settings should work as needed them to and it doesn’t however because of a bug or unlogical complication of your system.
Also any type of price changing plugin may be incompatible with our invoice software and so create even more problems.
Also please keep in mind that I have 1600 products and so I can’t really be editing every single product.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesHi @shameemreza,
Thank you very much for your help.
Yes, that’s what i think i did, and that’s exactly what i need.
However with the configuration i showed in the first post, doesn’t work that way. When 0% tax, is shows 11,55€, so instead of including 0% tax, it’s deducting the full 23% of the price.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesHi Shameem,
Thank you very much. Now i understand how it works , however to be honest, i don’t think it makes any logic.
So having that, to have a 15€ final price for everyone, including taxes (no matter the value of the tax), how should i proceed?
Thank you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesHi Carol,
Thank you very much for your help.
I understand however that doesn’t make sense in terms of economics.
If we say a price is inclusive of tax, if the tax is 23%, 15€ (15€*0,23 = 3,45€ (tax) + 12,2€ = 15€). With the same idea, if the tax is 15%, as it’s included in the price (15€*0,23 = 2,25€ (tax) + 12,75€ = 15€). With the same idea, if the tax is 0%, as it’s included in the price (15€*0,00 = 0,00€ (tax) + 15,€ = 15€) (Just to be sure, I consulted my accountant how taxes work in this matter)
Or, if the price is excluded of tax, so they don’t include tax, if the tax is 23% (12,2€ +23% = 15€), if the tax is 15%, (12,2€ +15% = 14,03€) and if the tax is 0% (12,2€ +0% = 12,2€)
I’ve found others with the same problem. Some mentioned plugin conflicts and others pointed to outdated theme files. My theme is actually a bit outdated. What do you guys think? Have you seen a similar situation?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesThank you Anastas.
The problem is that if i do that, for i would have to enter 12,20€ price in the product page and then the Portuguese based customer would add 23% vat and would be acharged 15€, however the customer outside EU would be charge 12,20€ as the vat would increase the price. However i need the opposite to this. I need to charge 15€ in every ocasion in for the finish price. Yet inside EU it would include 23% vat and outside EU would include 0% vat. So i’m almost certain that i choose the right settings. Chatgpt got the same settings as me.
In resume, I need this:
Product page = 15,00€ (Inclusive of tax)
Inside EU = Final price 15,00€ (Which includes 12,20€ + 23% vat = 15,00€)
Outside EU = Final price 15,00€ (Which includes 15,00€ + 0% vat = 15,00€)
However somehow what is happening is this:
Product page = 15,00€ (Inclusive of tax)
Inside EU = Final price 15,00€ (Which includes 12,20€ + 23% vat = 15,00€)
Outside EU = Final price 12,20€ (Which includes 12,20€ + 0% vat = 12,20€) So, somehow, it’s deducting the value of the vat of the inside EU countries, which does not make sense at all and maybe is a bug I can’t figure out 🙁

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrongly calculating VAT for 0% VAT countriesHi Anastas,
Thank you very much for your help.
We are based in Portugal. In portugal, selling for customers (not companies), we have to charge VAT to customers inside EU, (Next year we will charge different vat for different eu members countries following the OSS rules, not this year however).
So i need for example to enter the product with the final value of 25€.
for Portugal 25€ where 23% of that is VAT.
for USA 25€ where 0% of that is VAT.
So the price i enter in the product includes all taxes for every country.
If i enter the product inclusive of tax in the product page and then i enter the above configuration, it should work as intended by us right? Or is there any option that was wrongly selected?
Thank you.
Best Regards.
